He also posted a screenshot of a local Washington Parish jail bookings report that listed him as booked by the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office on the Theft of Auto/Vehicle charge. The report stated that no bond had been set at the time.
Buckingham also shared a “Free Brandon” message and linked to the bookings page, directing his followers toward information about his case. He then promoted mugshot-themed T-shirts featuring the message “Legalize Journalism,” connecting the merchandise to his work as a journalist and content creator.
The booking report also listed fellow YouTuber and journalist Tommy G, identified as Tom Gerszewski, 32. The report did not specify charges for Gerszewski.
Comments surrounding the posts claimed that Buckingham and Tommy G were arrested together in Louisiana while filming a new video. Buckingham’s posts appear to frame the situation around his work documenting stories and creating content.
