In the viral video from July, Muehl was seen standing in front of a sea lion, pretending to be an MMA fighter. He was weaving around the animal and then suddenly kicked the animal. We don’t know if the kick connected, but the animal’s head tilted upwards, and it subsequently tried to run away.
Muehl then kicked the animal near the neck again, and this time a loud thud was heard, signalling that the hit had connected. The animal tried to run away once again, and the teenager gave chase, kicking the animal again from behind.
