A nursing student won $250,000 after tracking down IShowSpeed in his location-based scavenger hunt challenge.
On October 28, 2026, popular streamer iShowSpeed went live on Twitch in a stream titled FIRST TO FIND ME WINS $250,000! In collaboration with Dr. Squatch, the influencer launched a “Million Dollar Mission” scavenger hunt, challenging fans to track down his location using GPS coordinates revealed during the livestream.
A nursing student named Ben eventually managed to find Speed, but the streamer initially pranked him by claiming there was no cash prize. Before receiving his reward, Ben revealed that he had quit his job to pursue a career in nursing and was currently studying to become a nurse.
After the prank, Speed presented Ben with an oversized check for $250,000, accompanied by celebratory confetti. The streamer congratulated the student and offered him the check. He said:
“You just won $250,000! Congratulations, bro! You have won $250,000! You found me! He found me and won $250,000, bro. Congratulations, bro. You’re a nursing student, bro. You got $2,000 in your bank account. Now you’re gonna have 250,000…. What’s your name? Ben? Everybody spam W Ben in the chat.”
Streamer Shell0’s Attempt to Find IShowSpeed and Win $250,000
During iShowSpeed’s livestream, he offered $250,000 to the first fan to track down his location. Fellow streamer Shell0 was among those who attempted the challenge. During his search, Shell0 came across a person dressed in a Dr. Squatch mascot costume. This was meant to provide additional GPS coordinates to help participants get closer to finding Speed.
Shell0, who admitted he was unfamiliar with the place, grew increasingly frustrated. Speed had given him a clue, saying he was at a place where “Brooklyn runs out of Brooklyn.”
However, Shell0 ultimately failed to locate the streamer in time. A fan named Ben managed to find Speed first. He secured the $250,000 prize, beating the other participants to the reward.
