Nopixel V to come to Rockstar Games Launcher in closed beta test

NoPixel V, the next evolution of the flagship GTA roleplay server, will launch in closed beta on the Rockstar Games Launcher on September 8, 2026, following a lengthy collaboration between the two parties.

NoPixel creator Koil confirmed the news in an announcement to the server’s Discord. “On September 8, NoPixel V will be available in Closed Beta to select participants on the Rockstar Games Launcher. This is a big step for the Grand Theft Auto Roleplay community, and it took a full rebuild of NoPixel to get here.”

Access will be limited to a small group at first

A launch trailer is set to premiere on September 1 at 5 PM BST, a week ahead of the beta itself. According to the announcement, initial access will be restricted to an invite-only allowlist of nearly 450 content creators and established roleplayers, rolled out in phases.

“While the first phase of invites is nearly complete, it’s just the first group,” Koil said. “If you haven’t received an invite yet, you haven’t been ruled out. Over time, access will expand, including more phases of invites.”

Koil described the relaunch as “a genuine reset and a fresh start for the NoPixel whitelist,” confirming that NoPixel Public and NoPixel 4.0 will remain fully active for players who don’t receive early access.

The collaboration follows Rockstar’s 2023 acquisition of the team behind FiveM, the multiplayer framework that powers NoPixel, and comes as the studio looks to expand its footprint in the GTA roleplay space ahead of GTA 6’s launch on November 19.
