Twitch streamer Hasan Piker reacted to Asmongold revealing that he would livestream Nidal Hasan’s execution on Kick or Rumble.

On October 8, 2026, controversial streamer Asmongold went live on Kick. Among several topics, he spoke about the execution of Nidal Hasan. Recently, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth revealed that the former U.S. Army major’s execution would be livestreamed, BBC reports suggest. Hasan was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder after he opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people and injuring over 30 others.
The Kick streamer was reacting to an interview in which Hegseth addressed the situation. He said he would host a “watch party” for the execution. Revealing that he would stream it on Kick or Rumble if Twitch’s terms of service didn’t allow it, Asmongold had this to say:
“This is awesome… A watch party? Oh yeah! We’re definitely gonna watch it live. If we can’t watch it on Twitch, I’ll just stream it exclusively on Kick or Rumble. Yeah, we’re absolutely watching this live.”
Popular user @Rekapzz posted a clip of the broadcast on X. Progressive Twitch streamer Hasan Piker reacted to the highlight, stating that it was “performative grotesque behavior.” He wrote:
“Modern Republicanism is just performative grotesque behavior now.”
Pete Hegseth Addresses the Nidal Hasan Execution

In an interview with right-wing broadcaster Real America’s Voice, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth opened up about Nidal Hasan. He called the former soldier a “radical Islamist,” rejecting what he said was former President Barack Obama’s characterization of the shooting as “workplace violence.” He also revealed that the execution would take place by firing squad at Fort Hood. Claiming there are “serious consequences for these types of things,” he said:
“Army major, betrays his country, radical Islamist, kills a bunch of Americans at Fort Hood; of course we’re gonna do it at Fort Hood. We’re gonna do it on a Thursday; we’re gonna do it at 1 o’clock, which was when he did it. It’s gonna be soldiers, with rifles, executing the firing squad… Remember what Obama called it? Workplace violence? I mean, that’s what we’re up against. That’s the worldview we’re up against… We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it. Because, people need to understand that there’s serious consequences for these types of things.”
