Controversial Kick streamer Ozemi has been banned on Kick for a viral stunt of reportedly stealing a bicycle in Japan.

Controversial streamer Ozemi has officially been banned from Kick. During his IRL streaming stint in Japan, the American creator made headlines over several incidents. Although Kick has not explained the ban, it is widely speculated that it could be linked to his recent actions.
In one of his latest streams, Ozemi appeared to walk into the driveway of a private residence and ride away on a bicycle. Social media users went on to accuse the streamer of stealing the bicycle. However, he has repeatedly denied said claims. Responding to an X post accusing him of theft, Ozemi wrote:
“The bike was a local friend’s of mine. I’ll be out having a good time in this lovely country again tonight and will not go to jail cause I do no crime.”
In another X post, the streamer denied stealing the bike and claimed it was a “scripted” bit with a Japanese local that he had met. He wrote:
“Btw the bike clip was scripted by me and a local I met. I’m not a johnny somali”
Ozemi has yet to comment publicly on the ban.

“I Thought It Was Funny”: Streamer Ozemi Denies Allegations of Stealing a Bicycle
Before his ban from Kick, Ozemi addressed allegations that he may have stolen a bicycle. He also denied the comparisons to Johnny Somali and discussed some of his other controversial actions, including sitting behind a stranger’s motorcycle. During one of his livestreams, Ozemi addressed the controversy, saying
“The bike that I quote-unquote stole, it was borrowed. It was my friend’s…. We talked about it before. We thought it would be funny…. The motorcycle that I went on the back of, to me I was just trolling. I thought it was funny. But, people thought I was being a nuisance…. You know what happens to Johnny Somali streamers? They go to jail…. I’m sorry if you’re looking for Johnny Somali content. This is not it, alright? I like to troll, I like to have some fun, okay? But, I’m not gonna be going out and just assaulting people.”
For context, Johnny Somali is an American online personality who made headlines for his controversial behavior while streaming in Japan and South Korea. He is currently serving a six-month prison sentence in South Korea.
