Businesswoman Elizabeth Holmes opens up about people supposedly putting her children’s health and safety at risk.
On September 25, 2026, Elizabeth Holmes posted on her X account. Over an AI-generated image of herself burning a bridge, Holmes posted a vague message about people supposedly jeopardizing her children’s safety and health. Holmes suggested that she does not have an issue burning bridges in order to protect her children. As of writing, she has yet to explain further details regarding her vague post. Claiming that she will “grab the match tomorrow,” the American businesswoman had this to say:
“I don’t get angry often. Tonight, I am. People put my child’s health and safety at risk. They knowingly and consciously chose this path. If protecting my child means burning bridges, I’ll burn them to light the way. Time to sleep. I’ll grab the match tomorrow.”
Elizabeth Holmes is currently in Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, for defrauding investors of millions of dollars through her popular blood-testing startup, Theranos. Her trial, which lasted 15 weeks, was highly publicized, making it one of the most anticipated in recent memory. A jury found her guilty on four counts of wire fraud and conspiracy.
Elizabeth Holmes Responds to X Users Under Her Post
Elizabeth Holmes’ recent post on X, which had a vague message about supposedly burning bridges to protect her children, has garnered upward of 1,000 likes. Given the virality of the post, X users began commenting underneath it, condemning her for different reasons. Popular X user Ian Miles suggested that her post was dramatic. In response, she suggested that he would do the same if he were under similar circumstances. She wrote:
“Given the circumstances, you’d do the same.”
When another user pointed out that she had posted an AI-generated picture, she said it was difficult to take a picture in prison. She wrote:
“It’s hard to take a photo in prison.”
Reports suggest that Elizabeth Holmes herself is not the one writing these posts. Her X bio indicates that while the words are hers, someone else is posting them on her platform.
