Sever the Hedron Links is one of the final set of story missions in Control Resonant that send Dylan on the ultimate mission to get rid of Hedron’s influence on NYC once and for all. To do that, players will need to first enter the newly appeared Unknown Zone and then set up Gravity Wells on different islands floating around the region to reach the two remaining Hedron Links. Here’s a complete guide on how players can easily complete the quest.
Sever the Hedron Link “Near Patterned Evac Building” in Control Resonant
After you’ve successfully reached the Unknown Zone and completed Pope’s Research side story, you’ll need to use the Gravity Well marked on the map above (as “1”) to reach the Factory Island. Or, you can instead take the fast travel door directly to the Factory Island. After that, take the Gravity Well on the Factory Island to reach the Island to the east of the Patterned Evac Building.
Now, climb up on a high building and look for a small island with the Hedron link. Now, you’ll need to use the collapsing platforms leading to the Island and interact with the link on it. Doing so will teleport Dylan to the Hedron’s Domain.
After a short platforming section, players will face The Hedron Factor boss fight during Sever the Hedron Links quest in Control Resonant. The boss fight is divided into three phases (indicated by blue dots under the boss’ HP), and here’s how you can defeat it with ease.

Head to the Gap immediately after defeating the first Hedron boss for an interesting encounter with The Board.
Make sure to complete any urgent quests before severing the second Hedron Link, as it will start a significant chunk of story mission automatically, which will prevent players from entering the open world for some time. However, this isn’t a point of no return; you’ll just need to complete the hefty sequence before resuming open world exploration.
Sever the Hedron Link “Near Patterned Field Office” in Control Resonant
To reach the Hedron Link near the Patterned Field Office in Control Resonant, players will need to head to Tower Island by using the platforms on the marker I’ve labeled as “1.” Or, you could use a fast travel door on Tower Island to reach it directly. Regardless, you’ll need to take the Gravity Well on Tower Island to reach the Island east of Patterned Field Office.
Next, get on top of the building, and you’ll spot the Hedron Link just across the basketball court on a small island. Simply use Elevate and Reach abilities to get there, and interact with the Link to teleport to the Hedron’s domain.
Similar to the previous objective, you’ll need to pass a small platforming section before starting a boss fight with “The Hedron Proxy.” Again, the boss fight is divided into three phases, and here’s how players can defeat it in Sever the Hedron Link quest in Control Resonant.
