To evolve Wisptis into Fulmintis in Aniimo, the in-game evolution screen tells you that you need something called a Fulminous Soul, but it doesn’t explain where you can get this item or even where to start looking. Here’s how this works.
How to Get Fulminous Soul in Aniimo
There is no item called “Fulminous Soul” in Aniimo. What the Wisptis → Fulmintis evolution requirement is actually referring to is an item called Soul of Electric Shock. Fulminous Soul is the effect granted by this item.
The only way to get Soul of Electric Shock, and thereby Fulminous Soul, is by reaching level 10 in the Advanced Edition of the Companion Handbook (costs $9.99).
The Companion Handbook is Aniimo’s version of a battle pass, and it has a free version, called Standard Edition, and a paid version, called Advanced Edition. When you purchase the Advanced Edition and level up the Companion Handbook to level 10, you’ll unlock the Soul of Electric Shock as a reward.
Once you have Soul of Electric Shock in your possession, you’ll fulfill the requirement for the “Fulminous Soul,” permanently unlocking the ability to evolve Wisptis into Fulmintis (you don’t need more than one).
Unfortunately, there is no way to get the Soul of Electric Shock/Fulminous Soul for free; you have to purchase the battle pass for $9.99 to access it.
In addition to the Fulminous Soul, the Advanced Edition Handbook also gives you access to a free Prismana Fulmintis Egg (guarantees Prismana Fulmintis upon hatching). If you purchase the Keepsakes Companion Handbook (costs $19.99), you’ll get the Fulmintis Avatar Frame, which is an appearance item that unlocks a unique look for Fulmintis.
How to Get Fulmintis for Free in Aniimo
In the Standard Edition of the Companion Handbook (free version), you’ll get an “Incredible Fulmintis Egg” as a reward for reaching level 10. When you hatch this egg, you’re guaranteed to receive one Fulmintis with Elite Potential (or better).
Note that this is currently the only way to get a Fulmintis in Aniimo without paying for the battle pass, and you only get one. And since you don’t get the Soul of Electric Shock/Fulminous Soul, you don’t unlock the ability to evolve Wisptis into Fulmintis regularly.
If you don’t plan on buying the Advanced Edition Companion Handbook, it may be worth using a Sparkling Cube to twine with the Fulmintis that hatches from the free egg. Since this is essentially a one-of-one Aniimo for F2P players, guaranteeing a Sparkling and Perfect Potential is worth it.
Aniimo is a live service game, and it is possible that a future event will give players another Fulmintis as a reward. However, considering that the Soul of Electric Shock/Fulminous Soul is currently the main thing that’s exclusive to the paid version of the battle pass, getting those items for free seems unlikely.
