YouTuber Logan Paul claims he has lost $250,000 to an alleged investment fraud, and fans say “he should taste his own medicine.”

On October 4, 2026, a 46-second video from Logan Paul’s broadcast went viral on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit. In it, the WWE superstar claimed that he had gotten “scammed” after he “personally invested” in SpaceX years ago.
According to Paul, he invested $250,000 in a “pre-IPO,” which should have turned into $3 million.
The YouTuber elaborated:
“I invested $250k… $250k personally into SpaceX years ago. Well, bro, they ******* scammed me, bro. It was called pre-IPO; I got ******* scammed by these mother*******. It was, like, not a real thing. It should have been $3 million at this point. It’s nothing. I don’t think it’s anything because they ******* scammed me. I don’t know these guys, bro. (Logan Paul’s associate asks, ‘They invested it for you? Someone else?’) Yeah, I don’t even know. It’s called prior-to-IPO; you guys can probably look this up. They got, like, indicted and ****. It’s bad! But I was one of the victims. Horrible!

Over 447 netizens on the subreddit have shared their thoughts on Logan Paul’s claims. While one community member believed $250,000 “is a drop in the bucket” for the 31-year-old, another netizen stated that Paul “should taste his own medicine.”
“His net worth is $150 million. 250,000 is 0.1667% (or exactly 1/6 of 1%) of $150 million. I don’t like that scumbag at all and I agree that he should taste his own medicine but we live in an unjust world and this barely affected his livelihood even if he plays the victim, I’m afraid.” Reddit user Cool_Set4681 wrote.
“Let’s be honest, even 250k is a drop in the bucket for him” Reddit user Xymptom posted.
“Crazy how rich he is and he’s set for life. He has a circle of people who love him and they laugh at all the haters daily. We all know who he is, he has no idea who we are. He’s winning and we are losing. Just giving him free attention.” Reddit user becomeanhero69 commented.
“So much of his life is about accruing wealth. He has more than he’ll ever be able to meaningfully spend. Even his ‘hobbies’ all have to be about wealth. When he’s successful, it’s not enough and when he’s scammed, it deflates and depresses him. His life is genuinely so sad. For all his money, he really has nothing.” Reddit user fartdarling remarked.
Logan Paul Claims His $100,000 Investment In Whatnot Is Now Worth Around $15 Million
On September 29, 2026, X user @Jackkk shared a one-minute-six-second video from Paul’s livestream. In the clip, he claimed his $100,000 investment in the live shopping platform, Whatnot, is now worth around $15 million.
He stated:
“My best investment has definitely been into Whatnot, the live shopping platform. I put $100k into the Series A when the platform was valued at $90 million. I believe they just did a round valued at $20 billion. I think that puts my stake – I did sell some, but I think that puts my current stake around, if I’m not mistaken, like $15 million.”
