Olivia O’Brien calls Pete Davidson “an absolute joke of a human being” over his criticisms of female influencers.

On October 4, 2026, Instagram influencer Rachel Lowenstein shared her criticism of Pete Davidson’s recent comments addressing social media influencers. In Variety’s recent interview with Davidson, the comedian opened up about social media influencers. He mainly addressed female influencers who participate in trends like “Get Ready With Me” or TikTok dances. Claiming that it “makes him sad,” Pete said:
“It makes me sad. Girls are just talking to themselves and they’re like, ‘Okay, come get ready with me.’ I’m like, ‘Who the **** are you?’ What do you do? Nothing… They make $40 million a year?… There’s girls my age that go on TikTok that mutter, like, a thing and do this, like, dance?… Does no one see how insane and lame this is? And these girls are like, super famous.”
Under Rachel’s post, American artist Olivia O’Brien commented, calling Pete an “absolute joke of a human being.” She alleged that the two dated back in 2020, and that she found out they were no longer together after he supposedly started dating another famous celebrity. O’Brien said:
“I was dating him in 2020 and found out we were no longer together by seeing on Snapchat Daily Mail that he went public with a more famous woman. he is an absolute joke of a human being.”

Under O’Brien’s initial comment, another Instagram user alleged that she was in a similar situation as the American songwriter. Then, O’Brien replied to the Instagram user’s comment, claiming they used to text “24 hours a day.” Stating that they used to fall asleep on FaceTime, the singer replied:
“Sounds about exactly right! Not sure how he has the time, considering we were texting 24 hours a day and falling asleep on FaceTime when we weren’t together. Busy boy!”
