Madoka Magica is getting two massive plushies of anime girls Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi, but you’ll need a lot of room if you want to add both to your collection.
To celebrate the release of Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Walpurgisnacht: Rising in Japan, the two protagonists are getting their very own massive merchandise.
Just like the giant Umamusume horse plushies and mighty Marin Kitagawa doll, the magical anime girl duo come with a chunky weight, size, and price tag.
Madoka Magica plushies cost over $400
According to the translated store page, both Madoka and Homura stand approximately 100cm tall (just over three feet).
The Madoka plush weighs approximately 8.2kg (18.1 lbs), is 93 cm wide, and features her signature pink twin-tails, red ribbons, and a thrilly multilayered skirt.
Homura is slightly smaller, measuring approximately 70cm wide and weighing 7.5kg. Her plush features a black outfit and an embroidered Soul Gem on her left hand.
In terms of size, both plushies sit around the height of a small child and weigh as much as a large bowling ball. So, you may want to consider this before lugging them around your home or if you’re planning to move anytime soon.
They also come with a pretty hefty price tag as well, with each plush setting you back
¥66,000 (around $413). This means you’ll need to spend $826, plus additional shipping fees if you want to reunite them both.
You’ll also need to ensure you have plenty of room too, as Madoka and Homura can both easily take up an entire couch. You may want to reconsider hosting movie or gaming nights at your place, unless your friends don’t mind sitting on the floor.
Pre-orders went live on August 28, 2026, and will close on October 13 at 11:59 PM, with deliveries expected to begin in March 2027.
While the Madoka Magica plushies are impressive in their own right, nothing beats this life-size anime girl statue that costs $8,000 and weighs as much as a large dog.
