Ahead of the release of the upcoming Evercold expansion, Final Fantasy 14: Till Dawn My Tears Flow has been officially revealed. The new Final Fantasy 14 release will launch prior to the upcoming expansion, giving fans something to look forward to before the end of 2026 arrives.
Final Fantasy 14 is in the calm before the storm right now, as players await the next major update to the game. Before Evercold arrives, the final chapter of the Final Fantasy 14 Fanfest will be held in Japan, which will reveal new details about the expansion, its new region, and jobs.
Final Fantasy 14: Till Dawn My Tears Flow Gets Release Date
Now, Final Fantasy 14: Till Dawn My Tears Flow, a new music album, has been officially revealed. The new album is a collection of eight popular songs from the game, arranged for piano. Vocalist Amanda Achen is featured on the tracks Smile and Bee My Honey, while the remaining songs are entirely instrumental. The CD includes liner notes by popular Final Fantasy 14 pianist Keiko, but the CD is imported, so those who don’t read Japanese will need to have it translated. The album also includes a download code that allows the user to watch a recording of a live song performance from the Final Fantasy 14 Fanfest in Anaheim. However, this detail isn’t mentioned in the NA listing, so it may not be accessible outside of Japan.

While most MMORPGs go into a bit of a lull before a major expansion release, there are still activities being held to keep players active in the game. Final Fantasy 14 is currently hosting its Final Fantasy 15 crossover, which brings Noctis directly into the world of Eorzea. Completing the quest and earning sufficient Gold Saucer currency allows players to get a free multi-seat mount, which are typically coveted in the game. Other rewards based upon Final Fantasy 15 are also available, with players having until the event’s ending on October 13 to earn everything.
While Evercold will likely be the biggest release for Final Fantasy 14 for the forseeable future, other arrivals are still yet to come in 2026, and Square Enix has announced some arriving in 2027. Before the year ends, Final Fantasy 14 will host its annual Halloween and winter holiday events, which will likely give players new housing decorations, apparel, and other goodies to celebrate the festive occasions. Then, in 2027, Final Fantasy 14: Bygone Serenity is expected to launch. The 18-note music box features the track of the same name from the game, and is expected to arrive in May 2027. In the lead-up to Evercold’s release and beyond, Final Fantasy 14 should have plenty for its Warriors of Light to look forward to.
