Dragon Ball’s first-ever LEGO set has surfaced in leaked images, giving fans a look at a 1,764-piece Shenron build with a Goku minifigure.
Fans first got word of the crossover in June, when reports pointed to a Shenron diorama arriving in November. Those early details suggested a display featuring young Goku, the Dragon Balls and his Flying Nimbus cloud.
Now, images shared by Brick Tap appear to show how those elements come together, with the wish-granting dragon taking center stage.
LEGO Shenron and Goku leak points to November release
The Shenron & Goku set is expected to launch on November 1 as LEGO Icons set 11390, priced at around $180.
The images show Shenron rising above all seven Dragon Balls, with Goku riding a cloud beside him. The base also features the original Dragon Ball logo.
The latest reported specifications differ from the initial leak, which listed 1,760 pieces and a $199.99 price. Fans should still treat the release details as provisional until LEGO formally unveils the set.
The leaked design is already getting a warm reception. In a Reddit thread discussing the images, one commenter wrote: “this looks better than i expected”.
Another added: “I’m not even a Dragon Ball fan and I want this.”
Collectors also compared the Dragon Ball LEGO to Pokemon, arguing, “why does this look 10x better than Rayquaza?”
Earlier reports also suggested the Shenron display could be followed by a full Dragon Ball Z theme in 2027, potentially making this the beginning of a much larger collection. Those plans remain unconfirmed.
Dragon Ball isn’t the only anime franchise heading into LEGO form. A fan-made Exodia build recently won LEGO’s Yu-Gi-Oh contest, earning the chance to become the series’ first official set.
Created by LEGO Ideas user Step_on_a_Brick, the winning design depicts Yami Yugi summoning Exodia from enlarged cards, giving another iconic anime monster its own brick-built spotlight.
We’ll have to see what else LEGO has in store for Dragon Ball, especially with the anime finally set to return with a retelling of Beerus and eventually, the continuation of Dragon Ball Super with the long-awaited Galactic Patrol arc.
