“Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover”: North West Responds to Those Calling Her “Demonic”

North West says she is not “demonic” and asks critics not to judge her by her style, in a live stream with Kim Kardashian.

North West responded to comments calling her “demonic” during her recent TikTok livestream. North is the eldest child of Kim and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. A clip of her response to the comments was uploaded to X by the account @ayekeeno on October 15, 2026. In the video, she says she is not “demonic” and that people call her that only because of how she likes to dress.

Kim Kardashian was also part of the livestream. During the one-minute, 24-second clip, North said she was not “demonic” and that people were calling her that because of her style:

“No, I’m not demonic, guys. Stop saying I’m ‘demonic.’ No. I’m not. Just because I like to dress this way. Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

She also said she does not understand why people connect her look with the word “demonic.” North even mentioned Jesus, saying:

“You guys know I’m not on that demon stuff. I believe in Jesus.”

North West Says Her Piercings Are “Not Real”

During the clipped stream, North spoke about the piercings she wears, saying:

“Guys, like, these piercings are not real. I changed them, like, so much that you guys think it’s real.”

Kim backed her up by asking how people could think the piercings were real when they looked different all the time. Kim also recalled North going into pre-K “with fake piercings.”

Near the end of the clip, North brought up a piercing she wants and said:

“And I really want cheeks.”
