Domino’s is paying pizza lovers to beta test its new website and app

Domino’s is paying customers $5 to beta test its revamped website and mobile app and provide feedback on the ordering experience.

The pizza chain is inviting customers to become beta testers by placing a digital order between August 3 and August 30.

“We’re hiring EVERYONE to be paid Domino’s beta testers. Including you,” the company said in a video promoting the offer, calling it the “best side gig ever.”

Customers who qualify will receive a $5 coupon that can be used on another digital order the following week.

Domino’s Rewards members will find the coupon under the “My Deals” section of their accounts. Customers who are not members will receive it by email.

How to get $5 by testing Domino’s website and app

Customers only need to place an order through Domino’s redesigned website or mobile app during the promotion period.

Once an order is completed, customers will be invited to share feedback about the new ordering experience. However, leaving feedback is not required to receive the coupon.

“We streamlined our website and app to make them bolder, brighter, more modern, and engaging for customers,” said Mark Messing, Domino’s vice president of global digital marketing.

Messing added that the company wants to hear what worked for customers and what could be improved.

The promotion is supported by a new campaign from Domino’s agency of record, WorkInProgress, according to Marketing Dive.

“You get paid for ordering pizza. No coding, debugging, or QA reports required,” Matt Talbot, co-founder and chief creative officer at WorkInProgress said. “Domino’s Beta Tester is the easiest job ever.”

While customers will not receive cash for testing the website and app, anyone planning to order Domino’s twice in one week can effectively earn $5 toward their second meal, which can be useful for anyone planning on trying the chain’s new S’mores Lava Cakes.

For anyone brave enough to try a more outlandish dessert, Domino’s also revealed Garlic & Herb ice cream, but unlike other menu items, this one you can actually get for free.
