Model and actress Cindy Crawford’s son, Presley Gerber, has reportedly died at a rehab facility at the age of 27.
On September 20, 2026, TMZ reported that the son of American model Cindy Crawford, Presley Gerber, has died at 27. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Crawford’s son died at a rehab facility. An autopsy has yet to be revealed. TMZ also reported that a representative for Cindy, her husband Rande Gerber, and their daughter Kaia Gerber confirmed Presley’s passing. A statement from the representative reads:
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
Reports suggest that Presley Gerber was arrested for a DUI in December 2018. He was later sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to complete a DUI program and two days of community service.
Presley Gerber’s Struggles With Addiction and Mental Health
Presley Gerber was at a rehabilitation facility as a result of a long-standing struggle with substance abuse and mental health issues. Throughout his career, Gerber spoke openly about his mental health. According to People, he had previously used medication to cope with severe, recurring panic attacks, as he revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post. Reports suggest he also opened up about taking and depending on prescription medications, including buprenorphine, Xanax, and Valium.
After Gerber talked about his struggles with mental health, Cindy Crawford publicly showed her support. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she shared her thoughts on her son’s ongoing struggles, saying he is not alone in his battles.
