Sucker Punch Productions has officially announced a new Ghost of Yotei story DLC, together with a Complete Edition of the game. Both are scheduled to launch on October 1, and the Complete Edition upgrade for existing Ghost of Yotei owners will cost less than what Ghost of Tsushima‘s story DLC did back in 2021.
Originally released in early October 2025, Ghost of Yotei was already expanded with an elaborate multiplayer mode called Legends in March 2026. While that content drop was free, the next one, scheduled to arrive just ahead of the game’s first anniversary, will be a premium release.
Ghost of Yotei’s October 1 DLC Adds Story and Survival Content
The newly announced Complete Edition of the hit open-world game will include two big additions: Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted. The former will expand Ghost of Yotei‘s story, while the latter is a new single-player survival mode centering on repeatable combat runs. The DLC is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026, with Sony confirming the Special Edition of Atsu’s adventure will also debut on the same day.
