One of the later puzzles most players will come across in Big Walk will throw you into a locked waiting room with nothing but some switches, a few chairs, a table with a locked red gourd, and a menacing five-minute countdown timer.
I’m sure a lot of players are here reading this guide because they’re scared something might happen if you don’t do something specific in the room before the clock gets to zero, but that’s actually not the case.
What Are You Supposed To Do in the Five-Minute Waiting Room in Big Walk?
Once you get into the waiting room, the switches on the wall will need to be turned on at the same time. This will lock the room, and the countdown timer will start. The solution to this puzzle is… just to wait!
It’s a moment in Big Walk that encourages you to relax for a few minutes, maybe have a seat, and discuss how the journey has been so far with your walking buddies.
Once the five minutes pass, the door will unlock, and the red gourd will be free for you to take to your next tower. That’s it!
You can try to leave the room before the timer gets to zero, but if you do leave, the puzzle will be reset, and you’ll need to press the switches again and start the five-minute countdown timer again.
There’s another waiting room puzzle like this with a purple gourd as a reward. You’ll need to complete that one as well if you want to see Big Walk‘s true ending, which requires you to find and complete every puzzle on the map.
