TikTok star Marcel Johnson, who documented his battle with stage 4 stomach cancer while raising five children, has died at the age of 32.
Johnson died on Monday, November 2, following a 15-month battle with cancer. His wife, Taylor Johnson, confirmed the news in an emotional post, revealing that he died at 4:45 PM.
“I lost a whole entire half of me. He fought so hard for so long. He was so tired & exhausted & in so much pain,” she wrote.
Taylor also revealed that her husband’s final words to her and Dedric, spoken earlier that day, were “I’m ready to go.”
“He still fought to hang on all day so we just got a bit more time,” she added.
Taylor said she was struggling to process his death, explaining that she had expected to wake up and find him beside her.
“I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same,” she concluded.

Johnson, known online as ‘celnoshell,’ had built a substantial following by documenting his cancer diagnosis, treatments, and family life on TikTok.
The Michigan father of five was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma in August 2025 after initially seeking medical attention for stomach pain.
In an interview with WXYZ Detroit, Johnson explained that doctors discovered the cancer within just five days of his initial visit to urgent care.
At the time, he said doctors had told him he would need chemotherapy for the rest of his life.
Alongside his social media presence, Johnson and his wife operated Lil Daddy’s Cheesecakes in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Johnson continued sharing his journey with hundreds of thousands of followers, including an emotional video in which he explained to his four-year-old son that his cancer treatments were not working.
His death has sparked an outpouring of tributes from viewers who followed his journey over the past year.
Johnson is survived by his wife, Taylor, and their five sons.
Taylor is also requesting that fans avoid using AI to honor Marcel.
“Can we please not AI Marcel and my family?” she said on Facebook. “I know everyone means well, but like that does not look like him or us and I feel it’s a slap in the face.”
