Fortnite Treasure Hunters brings in new Sprites, kicking off yet another season-long Sprite hunt to collect each and every one, only this time, players have just a month to do so. With the new Sprites also come new Mastery Rewards, along with a free Mastery Back Bling that lets you showcase all your Mastered Sprites. Here is how to get the Sprite Mastery Strongbox Back Bling, the fastest ways to Master Sprites, and all the Sprite Mastery Rewards in Fortnite.
How to Get the Sprite Mastery Strongbox Back Bling in Fortnite
To get the Sprite Mastery Strongbox in Fortnite, you will need to Master a total of 7 Sprites before the end of the mini-season on December 5. Once unlocked, players will receive the base style of the Sprite Mastery Strongbox. The other styles can also be unlocked by Mastering Sprites, but they will be released later during the season.
The Sprite Mastery Strongbox allows you to display all your Mastered Sprites from the Treasure Hunters season. However, do note that the Back Bling is always one update behind, with the initial unlock for the launch Sprites arriving with the Week 2 update. For the fastest ways to Master Sprites, see below.
Best Ways to Master Sprites
- Chests and Containers: Opening or destroying Chests and other containers yields a solid 75 XP bonus for your equipped Sprite.
- Eliminations: These yield by far the most Sprite XP, especially since you can also earn XP for assists in Squads. Fighting does risk resetting your Sprite’s level, however.
- Extracting Sprites: If you extract another Sprite while one is equipped, that Sprite will receive XP. Extracting duplicate Sprites will also passively level it up inside your Sprite Collection.
Remember to extract your Sprite once it reaches Level 5 to Master it. The only exception is the Sweet Dreams Sprite, which automatically extracts itself at Level 5.
