The official X page of the Senate Republicans shared a wishlist of the Democratic Socialists to persuade voters.

On October 27, 2026, the Senate Republicans posted a graphic of the Democratic Socialists’ wishlist on X. The image provides a summary of the wishlist, and it is on a single sheet of paper, cream-colored and tilted slightly against a black background, with a yellow paperclip hooked over the top right corner. Here are all of the points listed in the graphic:
- “Medicare for all”
- “Student Debt Cancellation & Free College”
- “The Green New Deal”
- “A 32-Hour Workweek”
- “Universal rent control (and more…)”
- “TOTAL: $355,000 per American household”
To wrap up the graphic, there was a total bill right under all of the listed points.

The Senate Republicans Shared the Wishlist of the Democratic Socialists

The graphic was posted on the party’s @SenateGOP account, presenting the list as the goal of the Democratic Socialists of America. “Democrat Socialists” is the label Republicans generally use for the group, and the post does not use the organization’s full name. The highlighted points featured ‘Medicare for all,’ which has been a sensitive topic. One of the big concerns about this initiative is funding and how it will affect taxpayers.
Other points featured the Green New Deal, which is a proposed government policy to help combat climate change. Prominent figures of the Democratic Party, such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, better known as AOC, support this initiative. Another highlighted point is the 32-hour workweek, as well as making college education free and cancelling all existing student debt.
