A clip of a 16-year-old Malaysian student attacking a female teacher with an axe is going viral on social media. According to the South China Morning Post, the student livestreamed the attack on October 21, 2026. The incident occurred inside a private institution in Kuching, Sarawak.
The footage shared on r/LivestreamFail starts with the student preparing himself for the attack by strapping a phone onto his head inside the bathroom. The student then ran and entered a classroom, shouting this at the teacher:
“This is what you get!”
He then dropped what police reported to be firecrackers on the ground and attacked the female teacher sitting at the desk with an axe. According to the acting police commissioner Saifullizan Ishak, the teacher sustained “a cut to her hand.” But the attacker did not stop there.
CCTV footage from inside the classroom shows he left the room but re-entered through another door shortly afterwards. The unidentified minor allegedly tried to attack other students. However, two other male students inside the classroom subdued him. The school authorities reportedly called the police at 8:03 am to report the attack.
