November 2026 could be a particularly important month for PlayStation Plus, especially with the PS5 heading into another holiday shopping season and several major games receiving new content. Sony has already delivered some substantial additions throughout 2026, including Final Fantasy 16, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Mafia: The Old Country through its different subscription tiers. However, there are still plenty of popular PS5 games missing from the service, and November would be a great opportunity to address some of those omissions.
Of course, PlayStation Plus games are notoriously difficult to predict. Sony occasionally builds its monthly selections around recognizable franchises or upcoming releases, but other lineups have little obvious connection between their games. The PS Plus free games for October 2026—F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2—all demonstrate Sony’s willingness to mix it up. With November’s free PS Plus games expected to be revealed on October 28, three very different titles would make for an appealing lineup (even if some are considerably more likely than others), and PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium are worth considering, too.
PS Plus Free Game for November 2026: Dragon’s Dogma 2
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an especially appealing candidate following the release of its Dark Arisen expansion. Capcom’s massive fantasy RPG originally launched in March 2024, allowing players to explore an unpredictable open world filled with dangerous monsters, hidden locations, and quests that can unfold in unexpected ways. Its Pawn system remains one of its biggest selling points, letting players recruit companions created by other players and build parties around different combat roles. Offering the base version of Dragon’s Dogma 2 through the PS Plus free games tier would allow Capcom to introduce more players to the franchise, just as its newest content becomes available.
- A massive fantasy world with unpredictable encounters and dangerous monsters
- Several combat classes, including Fighter, Archer, Mage, and Thief
- A unique Pawn system that allows players to recruit companions created by others

PS Plus Free Game for November 2026: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Sega has already revealed ambitious plans for the second year of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, making November an especially fitting time for the game to reach PlayStation Plus. Year Two officially begins on November 3 (the same day this tier of PS Plus games for November will release), bringing a new Duel Mode, additional gameplay features, and Bayonetta as a free unlockable racer. Plus, Sonic Racing: Crossworlds already supports cross-platform competition, and a sudden influx of PlayStation subscribers would be a natural way to introduce its second year. Sony also has a history of offering racing games on PS Plus’ free game tier, making this addition feel incredibly convenient.
- Fast-paced kart racing with characters from the Sonic franchise and other properties
- CrossWorlds mechanics that transform tracks during races
- Vehicle customization, gadgets, and online multiplayer competitions
PS Plus Free Game for November 2026: Hi-Fi Rush
In any case, a smaller but high-quality game always rounds out a PS Plus free game selection nicely, and Hi-Fi Rush is difficult to overlook. Developed by Tango Gameworks, the rhythm-based action game follows Chai, an aspiring rock star who battles a sinister corporation with attacks synchronized to the soundtrack. Combat, environmental hazards, and even character animations follow the music, giving Hi-Fi Rush a distinctive identity compared to more traditional action games on PS Plus. Its high quality yet small scope means it can slot in pretty easily anywhere.
- Rhythm-based combat that rewards well-timed attacks and combos
- A colorful, animated art style with music woven into nearly every aspect of gameplay
- A story-driven single-player campaign with memorable characters and boss battles

PS Plus Extra and November 2026 Wish List
- Street Fighter 6 (PS Plus Extra)
- Persona 3 Reload (PS Plus Extra)
- Armored Core 6 (PS Plus Extra)
- Stellar Blade (PS Plus Extra)
- Parasite Eve (PS Plus Premium)
Street Fighter 6 would be a perfect fit for PS Plus Extra in November, especially following the new Street Fighter movie’s theatrical release on October 16. With its extensive roster, World Tour mode, and continued DLC support, Street Fighter 6 would be a strong addition to the game catalog. Meanwhile, a strong single-player game would bring balance (beyond SF6’s single-player modes). Persona 3 Reload is another appealing PS Plus Extra candidate for that reason, plus PS Plus Premium subscribers already have access to a free three-hour trial. Making the full JRPG available on PS Plus Extra would be a significant upgrade over the existing trial.
Armored Core 6 and Stellar Blade would also make for strong additions to PS Plus Extra, even though PS Plus Premium subscribers have a trial for Stellar Blade. The former would add a challenging mech game for flavor, while the latter would add a beloved action game, as hopefully Shift Up prepares more marketing for the sequel in Stellar Blade: Blood Rain.
Finally, it seems Sony has been paying more attention to PS Plus Premium than it has in the past, with a more consistent cadence of releases. While it would miss the Halloween bus, it’s not like there’s a no-horror rule for November, and Parasite Eve would be a long-awaited and welcomed addition to the PS Plus Premium Classics catalog. Square Enix’s 1998 survival horror RPG has long been unavailable on modern PlayStation hardware. Following NYPD officer Aya Brea through a supernatural crisis in New York City, the game blends RPG mechanics with horror and real-time movement during combat, and it’s past time PlayStation fans had a more reliable way to play this classic PS1 game.
