Streamer Macaiyla says “male reading comprehension is at an all-time low” as she comments on men in the gaming industry.

Twitch star Tyler “Tyler1’s” girlfriend, Macaiyla, has called men in the gaming industry “incompetent, inconsistent, and unreliable.”
On October 6, 2026, Macaiyla took to X to praise and thank women in the gaming industry. While claiming that women “deal with stressful situations a million times better” than men in the industry, the content creator wrote:
“If you are a woman working in the gaming industry I just want you to know you are incredible and also miles above most men. The majority of men I come across in this field especially if I go through Tyler are just so incompetent, inconsistent, unreliable, etc. Every woman I’ve worked with has been so ******* good at their job and if something goes wrong they are always on top of it and deal with stressful situations a million times better. They understand more and think about the “what ifs” and continue to put in effort when things aren’t perfect. So thank you women behind the scenes in gaming you are so appreciated and so undervalued for your time and efforts I cannot stress this enough.”
In a follow-up social media post, Macaiyla explained why she believed “life is hell for most women and people.”
She wrote:
“Male reading comprehension is at an all time low as most of them are continuing to add to the high statistics of why life is hell for most women and people. Anyways I’m gonna prevent any more replies from here on out. Thanks again ladies if you work behind the scenes I’m sure you know you are doing a great job.”

Twitch Streamer Macaiyla Says “She Doesn’t Care if Men Are Offended” by Her Social Media Posts
On the same day (October 6, 2026), Macaiyla shared another update on X, saying that “she doesn’t care if men are offended” by her aforementioned statements.
Macaiyla stated that she was referring to “managers, videographers, game creators, leads, and assistants,” not streamers.
She added:
“This is not about streamers this is about women behind the scenes helping in any way lol I don’t care about streamers male or female literally this only applies to the people like managers, videographers, game creators/designers, leads, assistants etc. I don’t care if men are offended by that lol please unfollow I beg I don’t want men following me.”
