There is a floating spooky island in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it was originally available from October 22 until November 11, 2025. This will give players plenty of time to collect everything necessary, and more importantly, solve the puzzles scattered around the Haunted Floating Festival in DDV. Not all puzzles can be solved immediately as some unlock after a few days.
Updated on October 7, 2026, by Nahda Nabiilah: The Haunting Floating Festival returns to the valley, and you have from October 7 until October 31, 2026, to complete the new puzzles. If this is your first time visiting the haunted festival, there are a lot of puzzles for you to complete that will earn you great rewards that are perfect for the spooky season.
The Haunted Floating Festival In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
While most events usually take place in the Dreamlight Valley, players must head to the Haunted Floating Festival to complete the 2026 Halloween event in DDV. You may need to come back to the valley for certain puzzles, so keep that in mind.
To travel to the Haunted Floating Festival island, make sure to speak with Merlin, who will guide you to the teleport portal in The Plaza, or simply open the event tab in the main menu and press Teleport. Dreamers need to solve all the Haunted Floating Festival puzzles to complete the event and earn rewards. There are some puzzles available from the start, while the rest unlocks later on.
How To Solve Ghostly Critter Puzzle In DDV
To solve the Ghostly Critter puzzle in DDV, feed the blue Fox a Haunted Skeleton Fish. The fish is the Fox’s favorite food, and it spawns near Zero’s house between the two giant trees with door knobs. This rewards a memory orb that unlocks one section of a memory.
You need to keep feeding the blue Fox, Zero, every day for three more real-life days to reveal the full memory. Once the picture is complete, players need to find the location of the golden dig spot and dig it up to get the Clawed Foot Tub Furniture. Judging by the small revealed section, the dig spot will most likely be near the haunted mansion on the island.
How To Solve Combination Pillar Puzzle In DDV
The solution for the Combination Pillar puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Spiderweb (1) → Bat (2) → Witch Hat (3) → Cat (4). Around the Haunted Floating island there are 4 squares with the correct combination.
Each square has a photo and a number of pumpkins near it. You need to match the picture with the number of pumpkins to roll the dice in the pillars using the correct order. Completing the Combination Pillar puzzle in DDV rewards the Haunted Festival Dress.
How To Solve Terror-rific Tree Puzzle In DDV
Dreamers must offer 20 Haunted Crow Feathers, 15 Haunted Skeleton Fish, and 10 Haunted White Roses to the Terror-rific Tree to solve the puzzle in DDV.
You can discover this information by reading the book near the headless statue behind the Howling tree. Here’s how to get each item:
- Black Feather: One Haunted Crow Feather spawns every 10 minutes near the scarecrow in the corner of the island next to the pumpkin crops. (Max 3)
- Bony Fish: One Haunted Skeleton Fish spawns every 10 minutes near Zero’s house beside the two trees. (Max 3)
- Pale Bloom: One Haunted White Rose spawns every 15 minutes near the haunted mansion, close to the combination pillar puzzle. (Max 3)
The Roses can sometimes appear behind the piano outside the mansion’s fences, so make sure to check there. Giving the Terror-rific Tree all the required items unlocks it as furniture for decorations in DDV.
How To Solve Potion Brewer’s House Puzzle In DDV
To solve the Potion Brewer’s House puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Dreamers need to combine the correct ingredients in the Black Cauldron.
While in the Floating Festival, head to the small maze by following the That Way sign and enter the Potion Brewer House.

How To Solve Haunted Mansion Puzzle In DDV
The haunted mansion at the festival first opened its doors on November 5, 2025. Upon entering, talk to the knight armor to start solving the final puzzle. The knight will ask Dreamers questions like how many blue pumpkins are there and how many graves are there on the island in DDV, so make sure to walk around the island and take note of the numbers of requested items.

How To Solve The Lost Magic Page Puzzle In DDV (2026)
You need to complete the combination puzzle in the bedroom to solve the Lost Magic Page puzzle in DDV. The solution to the combination puzzle in the bedroom is Spiderweb (1) → Cat (2) → Bat (3) → Witch Hat (4). The clue to solving this puzzle lies in a memory puzzle you get after completing the Missing Books puzzle.
Place the Lost Magic Page inside the book to get the Decorative Magic Seal as a reward.
How To Enter The Bedroom
You can only access the bedroom using the Repaired Haunted Key, which is obtained after finding four candles to light all four Jack-o-lanterns and follow the ghostly fox around the house. The first two candles are obtained from the red chest inside the basement.
Use them to light the two Jack-o-lanterns in the basement as well.
Next, go to the hallway and destroy the lion statues to get the Red Festival Key. It unlocks another red chest in the basement, which contains another two candles. Light the third Jack-o-lantern in the entrance and the fourth one is located in the hallway to get the Haunted Key Fragment.
Next, you will encounter a ghostly fox in the hallway holding the other key fragment. Follow it around the house and ‘catch’ it around six times to get the fragment.
Use the station in the entrance to combine the two fragments and obtain the Repaired Haunted Key.

The Basement Puzzle In DDV (2026)
Once you have access to the bedroom, destroy the lion statue to get the Eerie Basement Door Key. Get out of the house and approach the basement door to unlock it and head inside. Dreamers will be inside the blocked section of the basement where there’s a red chest. Open it to get the Eerie Basement Door as a reward.
