Ludwig reacts to backlash from Hasan’s fans for picking Clavicular as one of his nominees for Streamer of the Year.
On September 14, 2026, an audience member asked Ludwig if he was a Clavicular fan during his livestream. The streamer previously said that he would nominate Clavicular alongside four others for the Streamer of the Year 2026 award in a clip posted by X user @bloomjpg. After that statement, Ludwig received some backlash online, and he suggested that part of it came from HasanAbi’s audience, saying, “Hasan’s fans don’t like me.”
When Ludwig was asked whether he was a Clavicular fan during his broadcast on September 14, he said:
“Everything I know about Clavicular, and this is 95% not an exaggeration, is either force-fed to me on my timeline or from Slime directly. Slime is my direct route to Clavicular. Slime’s my touchstone to the world. ‘Cause I don’t know what happens on Twitter, I really don’t. I am relatively off the app ’cause I deleted it.”
After this comment from the streamer, another viewer said, “you are getting dragged, sadly”, referring to the backlash he got from Hasan’s fans for allegedly picking Clavicular. To this, Ludwig replied:
“Who cares? Who cares, bro? I am gonna die; no one will remember me in two hundred years. The only thing I care about doing on this earth in the meantime is being valuable to those that I love and those around me, my local community.”
A Reddit user @EconomyWrongdoer then clipped the statement and uploaded it to r/LivestreamFail with the caption, “Ludwig addresses Hasan fans calling him out for saying Clavicular could be a top five streamer of the year.”
Ludwig Says Time Magazine Is Good At Picking Award Winners
While talking about the Streamer Awards in the same broadcast, Ludwig said he thinks there’s a “conflation” and sometimes there’s a shift in awards. After that, he further added that he thinks Time Magazine is good at picking its award winners based on impact, even though they receive backlash sometimes. The streamer stated:
“You know, actually, who’s really good about this, and they get **** for it every year, is Time Magazine. Time awards always honor, like, people of the year. And they do it mostly based off of impact. But like, there’s famous and infamous, and I don’t think like a vouch for infamy… but anyway, we don’t need to ******* dive in.”
