Benius “BenDaDonnn” has garnered attention on social media for his explanation of why renting a penthouse for $15,000 per month is better than purchasing a property.
On September 13, 2026, a two-minute-11-second video of BenDaDonnn’s collaboration with fellow streamer Din “Agent 00” went viral on X. In it, Agent 00 claimed to have observed “a lot of people criticizing” BenDaDonnn for renting his house.
According to BenDaDonnn, people don’t “understand” that if they stop paying for the HOA fees on a hypothetical $5 million property, the authorities “will take that.”
He elaborated:
“They have no idea. They don’t get… that’s what you’ve got to understand – people in the comments… ‘$15,000 a month! Holy ****! He’s an idiot!’ When your ******* threshold… and you don’t own it. And you really don’t own it because as soon as you stop paying that ****, that **** gets took back. They will take that ****! People don’t get that. If they don’t know **** about real finances, and never really had to deal with no real amount of money, you’re not going to know…”
Agent 00 then opened up about his experience owning properties in cities like Atlanta, Georgia, saying:
“They think, like, anything you live in, you have to buy it. Yo, you pay property tax on a $5 million crib. *****, they could take your house if you don’t pay HOA fees. So, I have a house – the first house I got when I was in Atlanta, the neighborhood doesn’t like me. You know, I have a lot of cars parked and **** like that. But I know that you got to pay your HOA fees. If you miss it enough times – because, let’s say, you don’t look in the mail, for example – they could take your house from you because you didn’t pay a few hundred dollars in HOA fees. Is that not insane?!”

BenDaDonnn continued the conversation by responding to those criticizing him for spending $15,000 a month on rent instead of buying a home.
While claiming that “he knows what he’s doing” and that “he’s rich,” the Twitch streamer said:
“And this is financial literacy for y’all, chat. A lot of y’all that be in the comments about paying $15,000 a month for rent. First of all, y’all don’t know how much money I make in a month. And, no, I graduated college and did all this. I know what the **** I’m doing. I don’t need y’all… so now, if I was making $18,000 a month, that’d be stupid as ****! But fortunately, we is doing very real! And I don’t want to keep getting back because I’m rich. But, what the ****?!”
