To trigger the Night Terrors quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker, head to The Cathedral Complex’s western garden where the graves are located. During the day, you can use the unlocked doors of the Cathedral to reach it. However, during the night, do the following:
- Fast Travel to Svartrau North East Shrine.
- Move towards the southern Blacksmith in The Cathedral Complex.
- Turn left.
- Enter the iron gate.
You can also climb The Cathedral Complex and use Coen’s Shadowstep Ability to reach it.
How To Complete Night Terrors Quest In The Blood Of Dawnwalker
To complete the Night Terrors quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker, follow these steps:
- Defeat the soldiers guarding this space.
- Interact with the well to open it.
- Use the Shadowstep Ability to enter the well.
Next, you’ll need to waste an hour inspecting the Thief’s body. Reading the Thief’s Note will also help you find out where Albertus & the Crypt are located, allowing you to interact with the graves and trigger the A Monk and a Saint quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Finish inspecting the thief, then move inside the cave to defeat some Kobolds. Loot them to get some precious items like Tainted Marrow, Kobold Bile, and Denarius. Then loot the skeleton to get the Rushful Corruption Master Amulet.
After collecting all the important items, move to the rock blocking the way and interact with it to push it out of the way. Afterward, move through the passage to get out of the cave and complete the Night Terrors quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. The exit will lead you straight to the grave where you can inspect it to find Mihai’s location to complete A Monk and a Saint quest.

Completing the Night Terrors quest will reward you with XP and the Thief’s Note, besides all the loot you will find within the Kobolds’ bodies and the skeleton.
