IShowSpeed and Dr. Squatch are giving away $1M but fans will need to bark in stores

IShowSpeed has teamed up with Dr. Squatch for a massive $1 million giveaway that will have fans hunting for hidden briefcases, racing strangers, and even barking inside stores.

The YouTube star and personal care brand have launched SPEEDRUN: Million Dollar Mission, a nine-week global event featuring 25 challenges across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.

Running from August 31 through October 31, the campaign will use more than 4,000 Walmart locations and select retail partners as hubs where fans can access challenges and compete for pieces of the $1 million prize pool.

Fans can win thousands by completing IShowSpeed challenges

There are three main ways to win money during the Million Dollar Mission, including weekly content challenges inspired by IShowSpeed.

These tasks range from challenging a random stranger to a footrace to barking at a Dr. Squatch retail display. Participants will need to film themselves completing the challenge and upload their attempt to TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube while tagging Dr. Squatch and using the #MillionDollarMission hashtag.

Dr. Squatch is also hiding briefcases containing gold bars of soap in select cities across the four participating countries. Each can be redeemed for a surprise cash prize worth up to $50,000, with clues revealing their locations released throughout the campaign.

Another $250,000 is being distributed through 25 winning scratchers worth $10,000 each. The scratchers are available through specially marked IShowSpeed Loot Box Bundles on TikTok Shop, while fans can also request one for free through the campaign website without making a purchase.

The nine-week event will then conclude with a final hunt carrying a $250,000 prize, although details about how the grand finale will work have yet to be revealed.

“We could have launched a traditional ad campaign with Speed. Instead, we decided to hide a million dollars and ask fans around the world to see if they could find it,” Dr. Squatch Chief Brand Officer John Ludeke said.

“Speed has built one of the most participatory communities on the internet, so we wanted to create something his fans could actually experience together. Million Dollar Mission is about getting people off the sidelines; playing, creating, chasing challenges and having fun together. And if you’re fast enough, you might walk away smelling like a million bucks.”

IShowSpeed added: “I’ve done a lot of crazy things, but Dr. Squatch putting a million dollars out there for my community to find is on another level.

“I already know people are going to go all out looking for it, and I’m not sitting this one out either. I want that briefcase.”

The Million Dollar Mission was developed alongside MSCHF, the company known for viral releases and stunts including its Big Red Boots and other unconventional products.

The IShowSpeed partnership comes shortly after Dr. Squatch teamed up with Pabst Blue Ribbon for another unusual release, launching a limited-edition Blue Ribbon Breeze soap made with actual PBR lager.

That followed the brand’s Mango Tango collaboration with Tajin earlier in August, continuing a run of unconventional partnerships for Dr. Squatch as it expands beyond its traditional personal care releases.
