Streamer Mexican Andy has been banned from KICK after clips of his IRL stream allegedly showed him harassing women on the streets in Japan.
Andy Martin, also known as Mexican Andy, is a KICK streamer who is perhaps best known for his appearances on Ice Poseidon’s IRL streams, but also uploads solo content and streams to his own channel.
A recent late-night IRL stream in Japan has led to Mexican Andy being banned from the platform, after appearing to harass women on the street.
His Kick channel was taken down
In the clip that has been shared around on social media, Andy could be seen jumping around to chants of his own name as a man and woman walked by. The woman tried to pass Andy and he put his hand on her shoulder.
Immediately, the woman screamed and pushed Andy off. He stepped in closer and she continued to shout at Andy and his cameraman. The woman tried to push away the cameraman who seemingly pushed her back. The altercation was then split up by others.
“The high of streaming to people and getting egged on by them, maybe your team and most definitely yourself, makes you do stupid […] things, thinking it’s a good idea. Everything for the views,” a viewer wrote on Reddit.
Other users criticized Andy’s behaviour. “Hard to watch, wtf is his problem,” wrote one user. Another wrote: “I watched Ice back in the day when the Andy’s were first introduced and now as an adult I’m so surprised any of them are free to roam the world.”
KICK have not yet made any formal statement about the ban. Andy’s page displays an error message when users try to access it.
