Following his recent ban on Twitch, popular streamer Asmongold revealed he is considering leaving the platform.
Zachariah Hoyt, better known as Asmongold, reveals he is considering moving away from Twitch. On August 23, 2026, X user @Awk20000 posted a clip of the streamer saying, “All things do come to an end.”
“I hope I don’t get banned again. I don’t think what I said was bannable.”
It wasn’t long ago that the streamer was restricted from streaming on the platform. Asmongold is vocal about his opinions and often uses his platform to reach out to other like-minded viewers. The streamer believes his punishment was unfair and is considering moving to other streaming platforms in the future.

Asmongold Opens Up About His Recent Ban and Reveals He Is Open To Move Away From Twitch
In the same clip, Asmongold doubles down once more and believes what he said was right. He also revealed that as much as he has grown attached to Twitch, it might be time to move on.
“I don’t think I said anything wrong; I don’t think I was wrong, but you know.”
Asmongold claims if this were to happen again, he is open to exploring new options. The streamer acknowledged that Twitch is one of the biggest streaming platforms today, but he believes times are changing.
“I’m thinking about just moving over and streaming on another platform entirely. Right now, I know a lot of you really like Twitch, and people like watching on Twitch et cetera. It’s the biggest livestream platform right now. But, you know, obviously times change.”
The streamer adds that he would be more comfortable streaming on a platform where he can freely and safely discuss his opinions without being monitored or regulated. He also mentioned that he would rather not make that decision anytime soon but has clearly considered his options.
“I don’t wanna have to make that decision, but you know, if I like, if it comes down to it, that’s what I’m going to do.”
