Kick streamer Nick White lost some rare Pokemon cards live on stream after he failed to catch the thief in action.

While at the San Antonia Collect-A-Con, Kick streamer Nick White lost rare Pokemon cards on stream. The streamer was there on August 16, 2026, where he met different collectors, vendors, and buyers. While making his way back to his booth, the streamer successfully sold a few cards, but during the transaction, he failed to catch a thief taking cards from his binder.
It was a classic sleight-of-hand where the thief distracted the streamer and took off with the items. Several viewers were trying to warn Nick that he was robbed on camera, nonetheless, but the streamer was seemingly distracted.

Nick White Became an Easy Target for Pokemon Card Thieves

While Nick was closing a deal, another man with shades was browsing his binder on his right side. Viewers were trying to warn the streamer as the man grabbed some cards with his right hand and placed them in front of Nick to distract him. In reality, he already had a separate stack in his left hand and quickly stuffed it in his pocket.
Nick even asked the man in shades if he was interested in trading or buying. However, the man claimed he was just browsing. While these Pokemon cards are just pieces of cardboard, they are extremely valuable to the right people. Conventions are a goldmine for thieves, like in Nick White’s stream, to make a quick buck. Earlier this year in North Carolina, a thief tried stealing $21,000 worth of cards and ended up with a 10-year sentence in prison.
At the moment of writing, Nick White realized he was robbed live on stream after reviewing his footage. The streamer learned his lesson and realized how easy it was for Pokemon cards to be stolen.
