Black streamer Ozemi allegedly assaulted female influencer Nanatty after she called him the N-word on her livestream on August 12, 2026. The internet is now reacting to the incident, with VTuber and Twitch streamer Mokarui leading the charge and criticizing Ozemi for his actions:
“You guys keep feeding into stereotypes about Black aggression by resorting to violence over words and it’s so sad.”
Controversial YouTuber Chibi Reviews, who himself has used the word in the past, chimed in:
“NUCLEAR HOT TAKE: You’re playing into stereotypes when you get this aggressive over a word and commit assault. You can play moral police all you want, but anyone with a functional brain knows this. Get upset all you want, but I am right about this.”
Finally, Korean-American political commentator and YouTuber Kangmin Lee echoed similar sentiments:
“Stop assaulting people over a word. You don’t get special permission to assault and kill innocent people because they said a magic no-no word.”

What Happened Between Ozemi and Nanatty?

The incident occurred during Nanatty’s August 12 stream. Nanatty was walking around town when she ran into Ozemi, who asked her to apologize for using the N-word on a previous stream on August 11. The streamer said she was sorry, and Ozemi then asked her to kiss a fork. Nana refused, and then immediately used the N-word again, running away.
The streamer ran for a good five or so minutes before she thought she was in the clear. However, some time later, Ozemi finally found her again, ran up to her from behind, and poured a can of beer on her, talking to her while she was doused in beer:
“There you go. You wanna call me a n*****? You’re wet! I’m a n*****, and you’re wet. W****! Stupid b****!”
After allegedly assaulting her for using the N-word, Ozemi left the scene, and Nana then had to call the cops. The cop arrived, and Nana then explained to him what happened, and he stated he’d look into the issue.
