On August 8, 2026, popular far-right internet personality Laura Loomer took to X to call out Hasan Piker, saying “your mouth will be your undoing.” In an earlier post made on the same day, she’d claimed that the Twitch streamer might criticize the wrong person and that she would have to “make that person a Give Send Go.” For context, GiveSendGo is a faith-based crowdfunding platform that helps raise funds for medical expenses and disaster relief for individuals and organizations. Piker responded to her “Give Send Go” comment, accusing her of issuing a death threat against him:
“Prominent maga crazy laura loomer, actively contracting a hit out on me.”
Loomer then responded to Piker’s comment, denying his accusation that she had put a “hit” on him:
“Nobody put a hit on you. I simply said, one day you’re going to talk s*** to the wrong person. You run your mouth way too much and you don’t know when to stop. I think your mouth will be your undoing. That is my opinion. Your belief that you are invincible will be your downfall.”
As a left-wing streamer, Piker has been criticized by conservative commentators and Republican candidates. The Twitch streamer has also engaged in several back-and-forth exchanges with far-right personalities.

Twitch streamer Hasan Piker was announced to be a speaker at the University of Washington at the 2026-27 Speaker Series. However, it was later announced by the university that the event was cancelled as the “event did not meet the necessary level of rigor.” On August 8, 2026, Piker hosted a livestream addressing the situation:
“They got inundated with a barrage of botted e-mails, and they probably got a boss call, let’s be real, and instead of abiding by the principle of free expression on college campuses, they chose to do this…. The reality of the matter is, if this had happened to Charlie Kirk or if this had happened to Ben Shapiro, this would be the number one news story on Fox News for a month. Will liberal outlets cover it with the same intensity?”
