On August 4, 2026, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton shocked fans during a TikTok live. Allegedly, Hilton appeared naked and seemed to have been cutting himself with a sharp object. Viewers of the broadcast immediately alerted the local authorities, who intervened to handle the situation.
According to Newsweek, the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office had received several calls about an individual who was allegedly harming himself on a live broadcast. When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found Hilton supposedly alone in his home. Reports also suggest that they “tactically disengaged” the situation and will continue to monitor the blogger.
Podcaster Zack Peter Provides Details About Perez Hilton’s Situation
On August 5, 2025, the host of the popular podcast No Filter with Zack Peter posted a video on X detailing the Perez Hilton situation. In the twp-minute-47-second video, Peters broke down the situation, detailing Hilton’s recent TikTok live incident and its aftermath. He also touched on the blogger’s previous hospitalizations and urged viewers not to search for Hilton’s alleged self-harm video, but to report it instead:
“The video is very disturbing. I do not recommend watching it if you have access to it … He appeared to have a butcher knife in his hand, and he appeared to have been harming himself … SWAT or some authorities appear to be outside of his residence … I do not recommend anybody watch it. I actually recommend you report it … From what I heard, the TikTok was on for a full 30-minutes before it was taken down.”
Peters went on to talk about Hilton’s previous health scare:
“We know that he had some sort of medical emergency several weeks ago, which had him hospitalized. Since then, he’s been on this very strange ‘come to Jesus,’ … very preachy content that seemed a little out of character for him … So, prayers for Perez and his family and most importantly, his kids.”
As of this writing, Perez Hilton has not commented on his well-being following the recent incident.
