United States President Donald Trump calls out NBA star LeBron James for disrespecting the country during the national anthem.

President Donald Trump throws shade at NBA star LeBron James after the athlete was seemingly practicing his golf swings during the national anthem. In a recent post on Truth Social, the president posted a brief video of the athlete doing motions and hand gestures before a match for the Philadelphia 76ers, and he deemed it disrespectful.
“While listening to our National Anthem, LeBron James disrespects our Country! I said right from the beginning that he’s no good, a TOTAL DISGRACE. LeBron James should apologize to all of those Great American Warriors and Heroes who died for the American Flag, and all that our Country stands for! President DONALD J. TRUMP,”
The president argued that the athlete owes the country and its fallen heroes an apology.

President Donald Trump Called Out LeBron James for Being Disrespectful Towards the Country

In the video, LeBron James was standing on the far end of the lineup with his fellow 76ers. While most of his teammates remained still or stood in place, the athlete was flailing his arms as if he were playing golf. The athlete also worked on the motions of making shots as if it were his pre-game workout. However, Donald Trump took it as an offense to the flag and their country and called him a disgrace.
The two have an ongoing feud over policies, and the president openly admitted he prefers Michael Jordan over LeBron James. At the moment of writing, no representative from the Philadelphia 76ers or LeBron James’ team has issued a statement after the president’s call out.
