Political commentator and Twitch streamer Hasan Piker celebrates his recent nomination for League of Their Own at The Streamer Awards.
Controversial streamer Hasan Piker reacts to his nomination for League of Their Own at the Streamer Awards. On October 16, 2026, the streamer tuned into the announcement stream hosted by QTCinderella. The streamer was not feeling too confident about making the cut in any category, especially after seeing the other nominees in League of Their Own. However, he was nominated alongside Kai Cenat and Maya Higa, which shifted his mood, and he said, “We beat 70 million dollars in AIPAC and outside expenditures in Michigan.”
“We made it! We made it into a category! Oh my God! Kai Cenat and Maya Higa? We now have to campaign like you’ve never seen before.”
The streamer was in disbelief after he made the cut into that specific category. As the name of the category implies, this consists of content creators who are doing things out of the ordinary. Hasan Piker’s political commentary, coverage, and self-nomination paved the way for him to be part of the Streamer Awards.

Hasan Piker Is Officially Nominated for League of Their Own Category at the Streamer Awards
During the announcement, Hasan Piker anticipated that he might not be nominated for any category. After watching all of his fellow nominees, such as Kai Cenat, who hosted big events like Streamer University, and animal rights activist Maya Higa, he was unsure of being nominated.
“Tough comp, let’s be real. It’s not over, dude. Of course, Maya is gonna make League of Their Own. I don’t think I’m gonna make it.”
As QTCinderella explained, this category is designed to give streamers the recognition they deserve for being unique. Once the announcement was over, Hasan was optimistic and believes things are changing for the better. He even believes that people will be split between him and Maya Higa, especially when it comes to the animal abuse angle.
“Things are looking up, folks. We can do anything. We can get nominated in the Streamer Awards.”
