Conservative commentator Candace Owens and U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace have engaged in a heated back-and-forth. It started when Owens criticized Mace for her “epidemic of killer moms” rhetoric, in which she alleged that several mothers were murdering their children. Mace shared a clip of Owens’ criticism, claiming there is “nothing funny about dead children.” On October 9, 2026, she wrote:

“There is absolutely NOTHING funny about dead children. If @RealCandaceO has proof the killer-mother epidemic is an Israeli psyop, I’d love for her to share. Is this a cry for help?”

The former Daily Wire host responded to this post with screenshots from ABC4 News covering allegations about Mace’s relationships. Owens said the U.S. representative had “two failed marriages” and called her a “psycho who blackmails men.” She wrote on X:

“Hey Nance— between your two failed marriages, plus your recent failed engagement which ended with you being sued for claims that you installed extraction software onto his phone because you’re a psycho who blackmails men—maybe worry about your own household for once?”

Mace then responded to Candace, seemingly making a joke referencing accusations about her sexuality. She wrote:

“Not everyone can keep a household as STRAIGHT as you.”

On October 5, 2026, Candace Owens discussed Nancy Mace’s comments on allegations of mothers supposedly killing their children. She disputed the claim that this constitutes an epidemic and accused Mace of “accepting over six figures from AIPAC.” The conservative commentator suggested that someone was asking Mace to “put out this narrative.” At the 12-minute mark, Owens said:

“I want you to check out this objectively hilarious clip of Rep. Nancy Mace, who has accepted over six figures from AIPAC, and cannot utter a bad word about Israel. She’s been like, chief, among the people in politics pushing this absurd narrative… ‘I can’t even call a friend, I can’t call my sister, everybody is just doing this. It’s an epidemic…’ What? What are we talking about? If I didn’t know any better, on the basis of how much she keeps tweeting about this, I would reckon that somebody is asking her to put out this narrative…”
