Costco is selling Disneyland tickets that can save guests more than $170

Costco is offering discounted Disneyland tickets for the Halloween and holiday seasons, giving members a way to save more than $170 compared to buying a similar package directly from Disney.

The $329.99 offer includes two days at Disneyland with Park Hopper access, Lightning Lane Multi Pass on both days and a $60 Disney dining card. The tickets can be used between Oct. 2 and Dec. 18, covering visits during both Disneyland’s Halloween and holiday celebrations.

Theme park content creator Kel Warner, known online as @themeparkmomlife, visited a Costco location in Burbank, California, after spotting the offer online and broke down the deal along with some of its restrictions.

Costco Disneyland ticket comes with one major restriction

“I just saw online that Costco has released a brand new Disneyland Park Hopper ticket,” Warner said in an Instagram Reel documenting her trip. “So I am at Costco and I’m going to go see if I can find it so we can look at the fine print for this new ticket.”

Warner found the $329.99 offer inside the warehouse, but highlighted one restriction that could affect when guests plan their trips.

Despite the ticket being valid from Oct. 2 through Dec. 18, both park days must be used within a much shorter window once the ticket is activated.

“The most important detail of this ticket is that even though it’s valid from October 2nd through December 18th, you do have to use both of the days that you want to go within 13 days of your first visit,” she explained.

Guests are also required to make a theme park reservation for each visit, which Warner noted “can be hard to get.”

Tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be shared between two guests. The same person must use both days included with the ticket.

Warner also broke down how the Costco deal compares to buying tickets and add-ons separately. After subtracting the included $60 dining card from the roughly $330 purchase price, the effective cost drops to around $270.

She then estimated the value of Lightning Lane Multi Pass at around $35 per day. Accounting for approximately $70 worth of Lightning Lane access leaves around $200 for the two-day Park Hopper ticket itself, or roughly $100 per day.

“Normally, the cheapest price you can get for a one-day, one-park ticket through Disney directly is $104 on the lowest tier day,” Warner said. “This ticket is a Park Hopper and it’s still less than that $104 a day price tag.”

A standard two-day Park Hopper ticket with Lightning Lane can cost around $503, putting Costco’s $329.99 package about $173 lower before accounting for the additional $60 dining card.

According to Warner, the deal is currently available in person at participating Costco locations. At the Burbank warehouse, shoppers could take a cardboard sheet advertising the package to a cashier to purchase the tickets.

“If you’re planning to visit during the Halloween or holiday season, this is a good ticket,” she said, “and you should go to Costco and grab one.”

The Costco deal arrives as Disney continues to expand its paid options for guests looking to spend less time waiting in line.

Disney previously introduced its Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Disneyland and Disney World, allowing guests to access Lightning Lane entrances without booking specific return times. At Disney World, the premium line-skipping option launched with prices reaching as high as $449 per person, on top of regular park admission.
