New details have emerged surrounding the sudden death of Ken Urker, the fiancé of Gypsy Rose, on his 34th birthday.
Gypsy Rose revealed that her fiancé, Ken Urker, died of an overdose. According to Rose, her brother found her fiancé unresponsive on his bed in their Raceland, Louisiana, residence on October 1, 2026. She initially greeted him with ‘Happy Birthday’ through a text and did not receive any reply or acknowledgment. After Rose and her brother discovered Urker in his bed, local officers rushed to the scene.
“I don’t know if it was intentional or not. He was not in a good state of mind lately.”
Rose admitted her fiancé was struggling, and she was unsure whether the overdose was intentional or not. At the moment of writing, the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office is actively conducting an investigation.

Ken Urker’s Cause of Death Is an Overdose
According to a People report, officers arrived at 6:15 PM, and Urker was pronounced dead on arrival. Gypsy Rose mentioned that their relationship had some ups and downs, especially since they are in the public eye. Rose mentioned that her fiancé received harsh comments from various social media platforms and suggested these could have been instrumental to what had happened.
“Ken endured an unimaginable level of public scrutiny and relentless cyberbullying across social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit. The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure,”
After the death of her fiancé, Rose hopes that everyone will be reminded of the mental toll that harsh comments can bring. She also described that Ken Urker was a loving father and did everything for their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker.
“Above all, Ken loved our daughter, Aurora. She is a beautiful reflection of his enduring spirit, and through her, a part of him will always remain with us,”
Gypsy Rose is asking for privacy as their family grieves the loss of Ken Urker.
