Social media users react to Twitch streamer TFue’s expensive purchase to restore and reopen a closed bar in Florida.
Popular Twitch streamer Tfue, also known as Turner Ellis Tenney, recently purchased a closed bar for a little under $2.5 million. According to Tfue, the goal here is to preserve the vibe and ambiance of the original bar. Another goal is to prevent contractors from building new condos. In his YouTube video, Tfue showcased more of the property and is sure that it will take some time to properly rebuild, and some netizens can’t help but share their skepticism.
“Don’t cry when it gets hit by another hurricane in 5 years lol,” X user @OSINTForgeHQ joked.

On the other hand, other users questioned his logic. These users believe building new condos for housing is much more suitable than restoring a bar.

Tfue brought his viewers to St. Pete Beach and proudly showed his recent purchase. The streamer is aware that it may take a while for him to reopen the bar’s doors, but he claims it held sentimental value to him.
“I have a little bit of a, you know, sentimental value to, like, businesses like this and trying to keep the beach that local vibe.”
