Two days prior, popular X user @YungYinkv shared a post suggesting the Kardashian and Jenner family operates a money laundering scheme. Although the user did not elaborate on the accusations, the post garnered upward of 1,000 likes on the platform. The user wrote:

Social media users under the post shared their thoughts on the accusation. Although some shared what they believed to be credible sources, a good number of people pushed back on the claims. Twitch streamer Caroline Kwan also joined the discussion. She alleged that Kris Jenner owns a church, and that its congregants allegedly pay “10% of their income as a membership fee.” Resharing the original post, she wrote:
