On September 24, 2026, the Hacks star joined countless New Yorkers to express their thoughts about the Israeli prime minister. In a video posted on Instagram by the Jewish Voice for Peace, officers quickly mobilized and took several protestors. Before the actress was taken away, she chanted:
“Get Netanyahu out of New York! No bombs on Lebanon! No bombs on Iran! Stop the genocide!”
The Hacks star was vocal about how she feels towards the Prime Minister of Israel. Several protestors stood firm and continued chanting outside the United Nations General Assembly headquarters in New York City. The actress was escorted to a bus along with the other protestors and left the area.

The Jewish Voice for Peace revealed that 100 protestors were taken into custody, along with Hannah Einbinder and even fellow actress Susan Sarandon. The actress used her voice, especially regarding the conflict between Israel and Palestine. At one of the defining moments of her career in 2025, the Hacks star used her acceptance speech to touch upon the war.

The blockade did not stop the Prime Minister of Israel from delivering his speech during the United Nations General Assembly. This is where he not only smeared Mayor Zohran Mamdani but also Twitch streamer Hasan Piker. At the moment of writing, there is no word on when Hannah Einbinder will be released from custody.
