Step 5 of 6 for the Black Ops 7 Zombies Super Easter Egg sends you back to Kowakujo, but unlike previous intensive map steps (like Astra Malorum), this one is extremely simple and can be completed in no time at all. Below, we’ll share the full and quick guide for the Kowakujo Super Easter Egg so you can gather the Z-Rex toy and leave the map without a hitch!
Like the previous Super Easter Egg maps, make sure you’ve actually completed the main quests on Standard, Cursed, or Directed, or else the toy box and subsequent steps will not activate.
Kowakujo Super Easter Egg Step-By-Step Overview
- Open Pack-a-Punch to access the Tenshu Rooftops.
- Open the Toy Box by activating the Tenshu Castle cherry blossom tree and running in a circle with overcharge underneath the Tenshu Rooftops.
- Activate the Kitchens cherry blossom tree.
- Activate the Staging Area cherry blossom tree.
- Activate the Training Area cherry blossom tree.
- Use the overcharge tornado move on the mossy rock at the Central Courtyard.
- Pick up the Origami figurine and take it to the toy box at the Tenshu Entrance.
- Take the Toy Z-Rex and Exfil.
Step #1: Head to the Tenshu Rooftops and Open the Toy Box
You will need to start by opening the map as normal, so head to the Tenshu Castle and activate the World Seed after defeating the Shogun Oni so that you can activate Pack-a-Punch and go through the wall that takes you to the Tenshu Rooftops.
When facing East from the Tenshu Rooftops, you’ll see the Toy Box currently stuck above you. To bring the toy box down, activate a cherry tree (there’s one in the Tenshu Entrance) by using your melee attacks in rapid succession, which makes the tree glow and gives you a golden effect around your screen if you overcharge your HP.
Quickly return to the Tenshu Rooftops and run around in a circle underneath the toy box to cause a tornado effect that will bring the toy box down to the ground. This toy box will open up and reveal a bird.
Step #2: Chase the Bird By Activating Cherry Blossom Trees
With the toy box open, a bird will fly out of it and perch on the Tenshu Rooftops, as shown above. You now need to head to the Kitchens area and activate the cherry blossom tree, which will cause the bird to chirp and fly from the Tenshu Castle to the Kitchens.
Now head to the Staging Area and hit the cherry blossom tree to activate it. This will send the bird to this area.
Finally, head to the Training Area and activate the cherry blossom tree. Overcharge your health and head to the Central Courtyard and activate a tornado at the mossy rock opposite the Mystery Box. There will be a glowing object that falls from the tree to the floor, which you can now pick up.
Step #3: Take the Origami to the Toy Box and Exfil With the Z-Rex Toy
Once you have collected the glowing origami figurine from the floor, head to the Tenshu Entrance where the toy box dropped from and interact with it. This will trade the Origami for the Toy Z-Rex, which you can then take to the Exfil booth to leave the map with the Z-Rex safely returning to Rex Infernus.
