Currently, critic scores have the tactical RPG sitting at an 89 on Metacritic and a 90 on OpenCritic, with a critic recommendation rating of 95%. The Metacritic score currently matches Pokemon Pokopia, another first-party Nintendo title launched in 2026. By comparison, Fortune’s Weave‘s Opencritic score of 90 puts it one point higher than Pokopia and tied for the third-highest score of the year alongside Schrödinger’s Call and Lost and Found Co.
