Popular actress and singer Hayden Panettiere died on August 16, and police have been investigating the cause of her death since then.
New information has been unveiled in the currently ongoing Hayden Panettiere death investigation. Sources have now unveiled that she may have died after taking a fatal pill, which was oxycodone laced with fentanyl.
While earlier suspicion was directed at her former partner, Brian Hickerson, the DEA is now pointing fingers at her drug dealer and is preparing to question him.
Law enforcement bodies are currently piecing together all the information they have, and trying to create a plausible story where they can trace the cause of death back to the drug dealer. Panettiere allegedly shared a close relationship with her dealer, where she would often buy black market prescription drugs from the dealer. However, it is worth noting that the fentanyl-laced oxycodone is a working theory, and can only be proved once the toxicology reports come in.
The case currently has the DEA in both South Carolina and Los Angeles involved, with both law enforcement bodies actively investigating the case.

Amidst the reveal of this new information, Panettiere’s former partner Brian Hickerson recently got into a bar brawl on September 12 in South Carolina. The American actor was out with his brother, Zach Hickerson, when the duo was allegedly attacked in the bar they were visiting.
Speaking about the altercation, Zach Hickerson said,
“It’s just super frustrating all that we’ve been through and all the rumours that get started and then people believe them and then they attack as a result of the rumours. That’s what p***** me off.”
Brian Hickerson allegedly threw a bar stool during this altercation, and the police arrived at the scene soon after. While Zach Hickerson was booked for disorderly conduct, Brian Hickerson left without being arrested.
