Political commentator Alex Jones has once again put the Epstein files in the spotlight, this time while responding to an AI-generated post shared by the White House.

On September 6, 2026, the official White House X account shared an AI-generated video featuring President Donald Trump wearing a Green Lantern-style ring, similar to the one associated with the comic book character and the Ryan Reynolds-starring movies. The video used the fictional imagery to portray Trump as a figure capable of stopping threats facing the country.

The first part of the video showed Trump raising his hand and using the ring to block what the video portrayed as undocumented people from entering the country.

The second half shifted toward the administration’s economic message, implying that transportation and manufacturing had flourished under Trump. The caption of the post was:

“In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!”

Taking to the comments section of the White House’s post, Jones initially appeared to play along with the superhero theme. He described the video as great before quickly shifting the conversation toward the Epstein files.

Jones called on the White House to release what he described as the “second half” of the Epstein list and pushed for those he believes were involved to face prosecution:

“Looks cool, now release the second half of the Epstein list and prosecute the cult.”

Alex Jones Praised Donald Trump After Heated Exchange With White House Reporter

Jones appeared pleased with President Trump’s response to a reporter during a White House press conference, calling for more of the same from the president.

On August 31, 2026, NewsNation White House correspondent Libbey Dean had planned to ask Trump about Flock cameras. Before getting to that topic, however, she asked whether he had ruled out using a nuclear weapon against Iran.

Trump strongly rejected the question, calling it a “stupid question” and explaining that he saw no reason to use a nuclear weapon against Iran:

“I would never say that, but yes, there’s no reason for it. What a stupid question that is, actually. Here they are; they’re totally defeated militarily. So now I defeat ’em, and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of ’em? What a stupid question!”

On September 1, 2026, Jones shared a clip of the exchange on X and praised Trump for his response. Rather than criticizing the president for cutting off the reporter, Jones said he wanted to see more of this version of Trump:

“We Need More Of This Trump Dialing Back Total Nuclear World War & Less Of The Other Trump!”

Jones’ reaction also reflected his view that Trump should take a stronger stance when responding to questions he considers unnecessary or provocative.
