American day trader and YouTuber TJR shares his side of the story as the TJR-Lacy feud gains traction online.
A new feud has gotten the streaming community hooked as Lacy namedropped TJR as the “worst guest” to have ever come on his subathon. Recently on Cinna’s podcast, he claimed that this was because the YouTuber had scammed him of $15K in November 2025, when the duo spent 48 hours in Vegas together.
Now, TJR has shared his side of the story on X, where he claims that he had been nothing but nice to Lacy.
In a long X post, the young day trader said,
“I did pay him 15k that he said I “never did” This is the full story. Everyone in Vegas rinsed everything they brought to $0 so I decided to hit up my gambling deal sponsor @shufflecom which I still currently have a deal with to give me a life line if I give them a shoutout on stream. They say yes so I take the 15k they gave me and put it on black and it hits. Granted, maybe the way I communicated the entire situation made Lacy feel like he was entitled to some of that money but I was the one running communication and I was the one that had the sponsor with them.”
He continued, saying that he only found out that Lacy had labelled him a scammer when his chat started spamming saying that he had cheated Lacy.
“Then after hitting I end up running my bag up and Lacy leaves to his room because he had $0. My chat then starts spamming saying I scammed Lacy because he said on his stream that I kept the portion of money that he “should have kept”. I find out about this because everyone is spamming me saying I’m a scammer so I say fuck it and go up to Lacy’s room (that I paid for him) and give him $15k cause I would rather give him that money than have him feel like I’m a shitty person. He then proceeded to lose all that money the very next morning.”
TJR claims there is proof that he had given the $15K to Lacy
Continuing in the same X post, the American day trader mentioned that if anybody had any doubts, there was actual proof that he had given the money to Lacy.
“There is actual proof of this too because I remember a clip circulating of @StableRonaldo watching our Vegas stream saying “watch TJR is gonna go into Lacy’s room now that everyone is calling him a scammer to give him money and clear his name” which to be fair is exactly what I was doing cause I could give a fuck about 15k and like I said before I would rather just give him 15k than have him think I’m a bad person due to a miscommunication.”
He even expressed his disappointment about the whole situation.
“it sucks that streaming is like this and so cliquey. I’ve been nothing but nice to @LacyHimself and have helped him behind the scenes with stuff and obviously helped him have an awesome segment of us going on a private jet and got him a penthouse in Vegas on my tab and got him streaming permission from the casino. So for him to say this about me just cause Kai pressed him about a clip with us together is kinda lame but I get it that’s just like what streaming is.”
Lacy has not responded to this yet.
