Popular Twitch streamer xQc blasts fans for being ungrateful towards Rockstar Games about its decisions surrounding GTA 6.

Popular streamer xQc defends Rockstar Games’ decision to lock GTA 6 to consoles on release day. On August 24, 2026, X user @xQc_dailyy shared a clip of the streamer reading a comment and stating that gamers should ‘thank’ the developers instead of bashing them.
“Paywall content, no PC release. You should be thanking them that they’re not doing a PC release.”
It is no secret that the streamer is an active defender for the game developers. At one point, xQc even encouraged his viewers to think about the thought process of the game’s pricing. While the official release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S is still a few months away, the streamer believes delaying the inevitable PC port is the right move.

xQc Thinks There Is a Reason Behind the Lack of a PC Port of GTA 6 on Release Day

The streamer elaborated that the PC port of GTA 6 would take a while to perfect or optimize.
“With the engine they use and how they make their games, it would take another f***ing year and a half or two years for them to make the game.”
xQc believes fans should be grateful towards Rockstar Games for delaying a game that was not ready for public consumption.
“You should thank them for delaying a game that was not ready!”
The streamer acknowledged everyone is eager to get their hands on GTA 6 and believes fans have the right to be angry once a developer fails to keep its promises.
“The only thing you should get mad about a company is if they continuously say a date and push it back. A delay or two is never wrong.”
He later blasted fans who are complaining about the pay-walled content.
“You don’t have to watch it if you don’t want to! Like, if you don’t want to watch the extras, then don’t watch it, what?”
